Job summary

Tri--valley-Opportunity-Council is seeking a Classroom Aide to support teachers in daily activities, maintain a positive classroom environment, and supervise children.

You will assist with planning, record keeping, and parent communication, following safety, health, and Data Privacy policies.

The role requires at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma or GED encouraged, and basic computer skills. This position emphasizes teamwork and flexible, developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED encouraged.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing.
• Comfortable working with computers, willing and able to learn program specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff with implementation of daily activities and classroom management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, care-giving environment and ensure children’s safety.
• Assist in planning and recording activities and ensuring consistent messages per Data Privacy policy.
• Communicate with parents and maintain positive relationships with families.
