Job summary

Abcor Home Health in Aurora, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. You’ll assist clients with daily living activities, transport to appointments, and support their independence in a respectful, supportive environment.

We offer $20–$21 per hour, mileage reimbursement, flexible schedules, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) match. Pre-service training and regular support from a branch supervisor help you grow.

Qualifications

• Willing to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Two references required.
• Valid driver\'s license and auto insurance.
• Access to reliable car or public transportation.
• Pre-service training completed (24 hours).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals).
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social outings.
• Provide personalized services per care plan.
• Report changes in condition to branch supervisor promptly.
• Complete visits and document tasks in home care app.
• Compile receipts and documentation for errands.
• Complete annual in-service training (12 hours) and quarterly conferences.
