Job summary

Rockaway Township School District is seeking qualified bus drivers to join our transportation team. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and hold a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, Passenger and School Bus endorsements, or be willing to obtain them.

Training will be provided. The position requires compliance with medical examinations and drug/alcohol testing, fingerprinting and a background check, and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, Passenger and School Bus endorsements or be willing to obtain them. Training will be provided.
• Must comply with state and federal medical examinations and drug & alcohol testing.
• Must be fingerprinted and pass a background check.
• Must have a good driving record as determined by the district.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Rockaway Township roads.
