Job summary

Rockaway Township School District is seeking qualified bus drivers to join our transportation team. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and hold a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, Passenger and School Bus endorsements, or be willing to obtain them.

Training will be provided. The position requires compliance with medical examinations and drug/alcohol testing, fingerprinting and a background check, and a good driving record.

• Hold a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes, Passenger and School Bus endorsements or be willing to obtain them. Training will be provided.

Working Conditions

• Competitive starting hourly rate, starting at \$30.00 per hour.
• Extra work available: field trips, athletic events, etc.

Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey unless exempted by law. If you begin your employment on or after September 1, 2011, you must reside in New Jersey within one year, otherwise removal from your position is possible.
