Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a Resilience Coach for our Hartland, WI program sites. This substitute, part-time role runs Mon-Fri with shifts between 7 AM and 6 PM, supporting school-age children through mentorship, enrichment, and academic help.

You will engage students, promote resilience, and help develop social-emotional skills while ensuring safety and program integrity in a dynamic after-school environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

School-Based Program Site - Swallow School District in Hartland, WI

Reports To:

Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule:

Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

We are looking for candidates who would be available to work Mon-Fri between the hours of 7AM-6PM as we run programs throughout the day.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a substitute role that is utilized on an as-needed basis when permanent staff are unable to work due to illness, time off, etc. We are looking for candidates who are available to work at either site listed. This role does not have a guaranteed number of hours per week or a consistent schedule.

Pay:

$20-23/hour, Based on experience and region

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

State Qualifications:

Candidates must be 18 years old and have 240 hours of experience working in a licensed childcare facility AND have one of the following:

1. Four credits in school-age child growth and development or its equivalent.

2. The first 2 courses of the Registry Afterschool & Youth Development Credential.

3. Two noncredit department-approved courses for school-age program and group

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
