Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a Resilience Coach to support school-based program sites in Fox Lake and Ingleside. This part-time role covers before/after school programs, school breaks, and summer activities with hourly pay of $19–$21 based on experience.

You will mentor students, deliver enrichment and academic support, supervise activities, and help create a safe and engaging environment. Prior experience with youth and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, or youth organizations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
