PG&E in California seeks a Manager Substation Test to lead teams testing and commissioning protection and control systems for transmission lines and substations. The role focuses on safe practices, NERC compliance, and documentation.

You will oversee regional projects and ensure adherence to safety policies and project schedules. The position requires 10+ years in electric utilities with 5 years in Protection and Control Testing and 5 years in leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Project Management or related degree.
• 10 years in electric utility industry including 5 years in Protection and Control Testing.
• 5 years in leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Substation Test work is completed on time, within budget and to quality expectations while adhering to safety and regulatory compliance and preparing for emergency situations.
• Manage large capital and operating expense budgets to ensure work in the Operating Plan is completed and unit cost targets met.
• Coordinate large complex projects across multiple supervisors to ensure Test resources support on-time completion.
• Develop effective department metrics and report performance against goals; provide data for management and adjust as needed.
• Develop and manage department budget, monitor expenses against forecast, justify variances.
