Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Project Management or related degree, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years in electric utility with 5 years in Protection and Control Testing.
• 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex field situations and recommend solutions while enforcing safety.
• Lead staff through recruitment, training, performance management and rewards.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Substation Test work within budget and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Ensure training is completed and documented.
• Identify safety issues and communicate under high pressure.
• Develop actions to improve system reliability and reduce costs.
• Manage large capital and operating budgets to meet plans.
• Oversee contract development and potentially Engineering Construction and Contract Supervision.
• Collaborate with unions and cross-functional teams to improve results.
