Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Project Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Substation Test work is completed on time, within budget and to quality expectations while adhering to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manages large capital and operating budgets to ensure work identified in the Operating Plan is completed and unit cost targets are achieved.
• Coordinates large complex projects across multiple supervisors in system to ensure Test resources are identified to support on time completion.
• Participates in developing effective department metrics to measure performance against annual or longer-term goals and objectives for time bound projects or ongoing operational work. Provides data for department performance to management and adjusts based on business needs.
• Develops and manages department budget, regularly monitoring expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances
