You will collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams, assess risks, and provide technical guidance to independent reps and field staff.

Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil/Structural engineering plus 5+ years in technical estimating or sales

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field with substantial estimating or sales engineering exposure.
Minimum 5+ years in technical estimating, project engineering, or sales engineering in building construction/electrical utility sectors.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical, structural, and mechanical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and competitive bids for substation control buildings and related modular structures.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications for technical requirements and pricing.
Review contracts and terms to identify risks and support successful project wins.
Provide technical support to independent representatives and external sales teams.
Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and project management to confirm scope and manufacturability.
