Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects. You will develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization.

You will work closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure bids are competitive and technically sound, enabling successful project execution and career growth within our regional electrical contracting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction.
Experience estimating substation projects.
Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and construction specifications.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities
