Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance.
• Military training or experience considered equivalent.
• Recent experience (within last 6 months) as Station Electrician A or Station Servicer A with another electric utility or contractor.

Aufgaben

• Respond to emergency calls on station trouble; analyze station conditions after failures and coordinate restoration of service.
• Perform routine and emergency switching operations at substations as directed by proper authority.
• Perform switching operations for line construction and maintenance activities as required.
• Be proficient at EHV switching as necessary.
• Assume ownership of assigned stations and inspect on required schedule; oversee maintenance contractors; make minor repairs; report major repairs.
