Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is encouraged for PE licensure.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review relay protection and control activities for 4kV through 765kV substation projects.
• Prepare and review P&C scopes and settings for electric substation projects.
• Model transmission system impedances and perform short circuit fault studies.
• Coordinate with transmission customers, contractors and regulators to ensure project success.
• Provide engineering support during installation, commissioning, checkout and troubleshooting.
