Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia's Electric Transmission-Substation Engineering team invites you to join the Protection & Control (P&C) Design Team for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience with substation projects, mentoring, site visits, and a final presentation connecting academics to utility work.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of electrical circuits and engineering principles.
• Interest in electric power systems, substations, protection and control, or energy infrastructure.
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to ask questions and learn new technical concepts.
• Ability to read, follow, and apply written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with protection and control design in substation projects.
