Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Substations to lead complex substation construction projects across North America. You will manage planning, procurement, construction, energization, and closeout while ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and profitability.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and experience with utility substation construction, power delivery, and EPC projects. Travel approx. 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management or Business.
• 5+ years of project management experience in utility or EPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of substation construction and power delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation projects from award to closeout with focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
• Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, and contract compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with engineering, field ops, and subcontractors.
