You will contribute to substation design for utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects across the United States, delivering technical deliverables and supporting project teams. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 4–8 years of substation protection & control or physical design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Create and oversee substation design deliverables from preliminary through IFC plan sets (one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring, grounding, etc.).
• Perform engineering calculations such as bus sizing, AC/DC station service sizing, cable sizing, grounding and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with project manager and multidisciplinary project teams to support project execution.
• Assist with preparation of technical studies (short circuit, grounding, arc flash, etc.).
• Perform QA/QC reviews of junior engineers’ work and incorporate feedback from senior engineers & SMEs.
• Provide support during construction phases, including RFI responses and submittal review.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers as they develop substation design skills.
