Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Substation Project Engineer. This role supports the delivery of design work for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

You will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to project delivery and developing your technical skills. This position can be hybrid or remote-friendly but a location near specified offices is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years’ experience in substation protection & control or physical design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create substation design deliverables.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with project manager and teams.
• Assist with preparation of technical studies.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of junior engineers’ work.
• Provide support during construction phases.
• Provide technical guidance to entry-level engineers.
