Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking an organized Project Assistant to support Substation Division and project managers. You will assist with material tracking, BOM maintenance, purchasing, documentation control, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers opportunities to grow in project coordination, engineering projects, supply chain support, and project management within the utility and electrical infrastructure industry across North America.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business, Technical Studies, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting large projects, project coordination activities, or related administrative functions.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, manufacturing, or industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project Bills of Materials (BOMs) and track material requirements throughout project execution.
• Enter and manage purchase orders within business systems and monitor order status to support timely deliveries.
• Track and document material receipts and inventory transactions.
• Perform document control activities related to drawings, specifications, transmittals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate transportation services for incoming and outgoing shipments, including material returns.
