Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the full project cycle from development to operations. You will develop logical, risk‑aware schedules and templates, maintain multiple schedules, and partner with Project Managers and Engineers to assess delays and impacts.

Responsibilities include pre‑proposal scheduling, resource loading, and cost integration while communicating status to stakeholders. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project scheduling for industrial, construction, or power generation projects; international experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations; skilled in writing reports and business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership.
• Develop logically linked project schedules using proposal/contract documents and estimates.
• Maintain and update master project schedules, tracking progress, delays, and impacts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to resolve scheduling issues and assess work impacts.
• Create pre‑proposal schedules illustrating activity sequences and contract timelines.
• Integrate resource and cost loading into project schedules as required.
• Analyze critical and near‑critical path activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper planning before work begins.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on planning, scheduling, and reporting needs.
• Identify employee training needs and deliver scheduling software training; stay current with software advancements.
• Support project teams with planning, tracking, data collection, and performance analysis.
• Update project status, plans, and prepare data for reviews and meetings.
• Monitor and report project performance against established plans.
