Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Substation Procurement Specialist to support procurement of electrical substation materials.

The role works with project managers, estimating, engineering, vendors, and field ops to ensure competitive, on-time deliveries that meet specs. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and knowledge of electrical utility equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in construction procurement.
• 2–5 years in procurement, project coordination, purchasing, supply chain, or project management.
• Experience in electrical utilities, substations, transmission, or EPC projects preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers and RFQs for substation materials and equipment.
• Evaluate quotations for price, lead times, and compliance.
• Coordinate substitutions with Engineering and PM.
• Prepare procurement comparisons and recommendation packages.
• Issue purchase requisitions and track orders to site.
