Job summary

Entergy Corporation is seeking a senior leader to direct Transmission and Distribution substation maintenance across a defined geographic area. You will supervise substation mechanics, relay mechanics, and contractors, ensuring safe, reliable operations and strong safety culture.

The role requires 6–8 years in the field with at least 2 years in supervision, plus deep knowledge of substation maintenance practices and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6-8 years related work experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in transmission/substation maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for substation maintenance programs.
• Oversee weather monitoring, outages, and storm restoration staffing.
• Ensure compliance with FERC/NERC/SERC and safety procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives and develop staff through training and development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead organizational health initiatives.
