Job summary

Summit Line Construction seeks a proactive Material Coordinator for substation construction projects in Utah. You will oversee receiving, inventory, and distribution of materials, ensuring quality and on-time delivery to keep project schedules on track.

Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate material database, coordinating with supply chain, and using Procore and ClearSpider tools to track stock, shortages, and supplier performance. Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferred 2+ years in substation construction or a related field.
• Experience: Materials management in construction.
• Skills: Strong organizational/analytical abilities and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment/material shortages with the supply chain management team.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of staged received material and equipment.
• Ensure procurement aligns with safety and quality standards.
• Review supplier performance and report discrepancies to management.
• Track inventory levels for multiple jobsites and ensure accuracy.
• Use Procore and ClearSpider to monitor material tracking.
• Conduct inventory audits and address discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
