Summit Line Construction is seeking a Material Coordinator to oversee the receiving, inventory, and distribution of materials for substation projects. This role ensures materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time to support project schedules.

Based in the western US with sites in multiple states, the role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with procurement, field teams, and clients. Experience in inventory tools like Procore or ClearSpider is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: 2+ years in substation construction or supply chain management.
• Experience in materials management within construction preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in inventory management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address shortages with the supply chain team.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of staged received material and equipment.
• Ensure procurement aligns with safety policies and quality standards.
• Track supplier performance and report discrepancies to management.
• Learn and utilize Procore and ClearSpider for material tracking.
• Coordinate inventory levels across multiple job sites and maintain accuracy.
