Job summary

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate pickup trucks, trailers, and medium-duty delivery vehicles.
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Experience in construction, building materials, or logistics is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.

Job description

Position Summary

SUMMIT is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver / Material Delivery Coordinator to support our field operations by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites throughout the greater Denver area. This role is critical to maintaining project schedules and ensuring crews have the resources they need to work efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from project sites, vendors, and company facilities.
  • Load, unload, secure, and inspect materials to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
  • Coordinate deliveries with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and material documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Pick up and return rental equipment as needed.
  • Support warehouse operations, material staging, and shop organization during non-delivery periods.
  • Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.

Qualifications
