Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Substation Engineering Lead (PE) to provide technical leadership, project oversight, and client engagement for electric utility substation projects. The role includes planning, design, and overseeing construction of substations, with mentoring and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The position requires a PE license, ABET‑accredited electrical engineering degree, and 10+ years in substation design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active PE license and ability to obtain licensure in other states.
• 10+ years of experience in electric utility substation design and engineering.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage multiple substation projects from planning through commissioning.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and engineering cost estimates.
• Seal for-construction substation designs, protection and control systems, and grounding.
• Provide field engineering support during construction, commissioning, outages, and emergencies.
• Mentor engineers and develop a high-performing engineering team.
