Job summary

Hayden Power Group is seeking a Substation General Foreman to lead an in-house crew and subcontractors on commercial, industrial, and specialty electrical projects up to $10 million. You will oversee scheduling, safety, and coordination with owners and customers, with travel to job sites as required.

The role demands leadership, HV expertise (138kV/69kV/15kV), and strong communication. A Journeyman license and OSHA 30, plus MEWP certification, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in supervisory/team leader role.
• Journeyman license required in state, locales, or projects.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• OSHA 30 certification and MEWP certifications are a plus.
• Valid first aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate multiple electrical construction projects, including manpower, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Travel to out-of-town project sites as needed for extended periods.
• Lead 138kV, 69kV and 15kV installations and troubleshoot high voltage systems.
• Coordinate with customers, owners, management, field team, and vendors.
• Manage change orders, labor needs, and timecards; ensure safety and quality on site.
• Mentor foremen, journeymen and apprentices; participate in field work when needed.
• Attend weekly and monthly company meetings to drive project success.
