Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. seeks a Substation Foreman to supervise day-to-day substation construction activities on project sites, reporting directly to the Project Manager. The Foreman must oversee field crews from Groundman to Leadman, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality workmanship.

The role requires strong field leadership, coordination with project staff, and the ability to translate plans into practical on-site execution under varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience applying basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
• Ability to schedule, monitor and forecast resources for optimum efficiency.
• Ability to manage others and many facets of the construction project.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and internal systems.
• Ability to visualize the entire project and embed solutions in the construction plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute the project plan to schedule and ensure compliance with budget.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Track and communicate weekly project report and generates 3 weeks look ahead.
• Ensure project materials and workmanship meets the project quality standards and design requirements.
• Initiate and conduct project meetings with staff assigned to the project and management if necessary.
• Review and address plan details, resolve issues before they result in added budget expenditures.
• Advise Superintendent of any potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts.
• Enforce site specific plans and procedures that are in line with EEI’s culture and safety requirements.
• Review and submit weekly time sheets to payroll for processing.
• Maintain the project’s daily job diary.
