Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in ABET-accredited Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.
• Willing to travel; full-time during summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during school year (up to 20 hours/week).
• Commuting to Amarillo, TX under hybrid work policy.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in substation capital and maintenance projects.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Assist with troubleshooting substation equipment and evaluating corrective actions.
• Review equipment test results and assess condition and performance.
• Manage small-scope engineering projects from planning through completion.
• Gain exposure to substation design, maintenance, testing, and field operations.
