Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI), a MasTec subsidiary, is seeking a Substation Field Engineer to support Construction and Project Managers on transmission projects up to 500 kV. The role emphasizes RFI/Submittals, QA/QC, testing, and ensuring work complies with drawings and specs.

Responsibilities include audits, material handling, closeout documentation, and subcontractor coordination. 100% travel, long hours and extreme conditions may apply; a High School Diploma and strong communication are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project-specific quality control records and reporting.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate audits/inspections.
• Assist with material inventory and paperwork.
• Assist with final job closeout and as-builts documentation.
• Support subcontractor scheduling and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel 100% for project needs.
• Extended work hours and weekends may be required.
• Assist with RFI submittals.
