Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineer in Spokane, WA. You will coordinate the power design team through schematic design, engage with governing agencies for code compliance, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Professional engineering license (PE) is required or recognized in the position location.
• 3+ years of project execution experience in the Power Market Sector.
• Experience with a engineering consulting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate power design team through schematic design and contract document phase.
• Lead reviews with agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to meet delivery schedules.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review documents for conflicts across disciplines.
• Write and edit project specifications.
• Coordinate addenda, RFIs, COs, and incorporate changes.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
• Perform QA/QC on work of others.
