We're seeking a Substation Engineer (EIT – Power) to support the design and delivery of power distribution and substation projects. Perform technical analyses and develop electrical design solutions for substation and power delivery projects.
Assist with engineering calculations, cost estimates, specifications, and project documentation.
Support Project Engineers and Project Managers in delivering high‑quality project work.
Prepare drawings, reports, and calculations using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Collaborate with engineers, EITs, and technicians to meet project goals and schedules.
Apply engineering standards and best practices throughout project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to commute to an office in Phoenix, Tucson, or Albuquerque 2–3 days per week.
Coursework or experience related to substation design, power systems, or T&D projects.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Interest in power delivery and utility infrastructure projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
