Job summary

Actalent is actively seeking Electrical Power Systems Technicians to support utility, transmission, distribution, and substation projects across the United States. This contract-to-hire role is based in Dallas, with hybrid work options and potential local or travel assignments depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include commissioning, protection & controls, relay testing, and electrical testing across substations, power generation facilities, and industrial power systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics, one-lines, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with relay testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, switchgear, SCADA systems, or protection and controls is highly preferred.
• Travel availability may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Support relay testing, commissioning, and protection & controls activities.
• Assist in field engineering, substation construction, and electrical testing tasks.
• Participate in startup and energization activities for substations and power facilities.

Positions may be local or travel-based depending on project requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
