Job summary

Responsibilities

Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot substation equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, relays and meters.
Perform line switching for substation maintenance and construction activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and electrical schematics; analyze test results to locate and fix faults.
Maintain records of tests, maintenance, purchases and administrative tasks.
May perform first responder duties and basic troubleshooting on telecom and protection equipment.
