Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead substation design and EPC activities, focusing on high voltage projects up to 765kV, with responsibilities spanning technical coordination, protection and control, and equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop complex engineering deliverables for large/multiple projects.
• Lead design and coordination for high-voltage substations (up to 765kV).
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and BOMs for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee design budgets and schedules.
