Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Electrical Engineering (Substation) Intern to join our Maitland, FL office for the 12-week Summer Internship Program. Open to undergrad/grad students enrolled in Electrical Engineering, with a start around May 17, 2027.

You will work with senior staff on real projects, perform design calculations and field tasks, and gain mentorship through our Developing Professionals Network while observing safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program with anticipated graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical, social, and ethical skills through engineering tasks.
• Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete assigned training and adhere to company policies and code of conduct.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
