Zusammenfassung

Puget Sound Energy is seeking an Engineer I in Substation Controls to design and integrate relay and control systems for substations 12kV and above. You will develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts, supporting brownfield and greenfield projects and SCADA integration with cross-team coordination.

The role includes field support, project documentation, and adherence to safety standards, with a pathway to professional licensure.

Qualifikationen

• ABET accredited, or NCEES evaluation accepted.
• Entry level to three years in engineering design or system studies.
• Familiar with codes and equipment for utility systems.
• Possession or ability to obtain EIT/FE license.

Aufgaben

• Apply engineering principles to design, cost estimates and studies.
• Prepare specifications and project documentation.
• Develop budgets and field verification of installations.
• Support emergency response and field operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
