ISG Inc. is seeking a Senior Substation Relay + Controls Engineer to lead protection and control system design for HV substations. You will develop one-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and equipment lists while guiding project teams and mentoring junior staff.

You will interact with utilities and clients nationwide, ensuring compliant, safe, and reliable designs while contributing to process improvements and staying current with industry advances.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of consulting or substation engineering experience.
• Ohio PE license preferred; may be pursuing.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits and meetings.

Aufgaben

• Ensure accurate and compliant designs (one-line, three-line, schematics, wiring, BOMs) for HV substations.
• Research, select, and order materials needed for each design.
• Verify adherence to IEEE, NESC and client standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; review their work and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with substation teams and external stakeholders; present solutions.
