Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• EIT designation preferred; required to progress toward PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Learn under engineers to create and modify design documents and drawings (one-lines, three-lines, control schematics).
• Develop protection and control system designs for substations.
• Perform engineering calculations like voltage drop and short circuit analyses.
• Assist with relay coordination studies and SCADA settings for utility clients.
• Coordinate with project managers and designers to ensure design package quality.
