The Planet Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Designer – Substation to support substation design projects by performing routine 2D/3D CAD tasks with accuracy and standards compliance. You will work under lead designers and collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to develop quality drawing packages for internal and client-facing deliverables.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electric utility CAD/design, proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, SDS, and related 3D design

Formación

• Associates degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the electric utility industry performing detailed CAD/design for high voltage substation projects.
• Experience with CAD platforms including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, SDS, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain quality drawing packages for internal and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to support substation design projects.
• Support substation design projects across the client platform with adherence to CAD standards.
