Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks a Designer – Substation to support design projects across the QISG platform. You will perform routine 2D/3D Physical and/or Protection & Control design tasks with emphasis on accuracy and standards compliance using CAD tools.

The role requires familiarity with substation materials and utility design standards. You will work under a Lead Designer and collaborate with engineers to deliver quality drawing packages for clients.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent preferred.
• 4-year Eng Tech degree is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years in electric utility CAD/design for high voltage substations.

Responsibilities

• Support substation design projects from inception to completion.
• Create 2D/3D design tasks with CAD proficiency.
• Maintain high-quality drawing packages for internal and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams under Lead Designer.
