Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate degree in CADD, drafting, engineering technology or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation.
• Knowledge of Inventor and Bentley Substation 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration for drafting coordination.
• Understanding of design packages and cross-discipline changes.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D drawings using CAD to a high level of completion.
• Gather data from manufacturers and vendors for substation design.
• Prepare general arrangement drawings from one-line diagrams.
• Develop grounding, conduit, and foundation plans with BOMs.
• Coordinate with civil, steel, and foundations teams on drawings.
• Provide drafting support across disciplines and guide junior staff.
