Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years design experience or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Certificate or Associates degree in CADD, drafting, engineering technology or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation; 3D software a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination with drafting/engineering teams.
• Knowledge of project setup and impact of drawing changes across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D CAD drawings for substations and related facilities.
• Gather manufacturer data and convert to general arrangement drawings.
• Prepare BOMs, layouts, grounding, conduit/trench and schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, steel, and foundations teams on designs.
• Produce as-built drawings and provide drafting support across disciplines.
• Mentor and guide junior designers; support QA/QC processes.
