Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Substation Automation Engineer 2 to advance grid modernization, strengthen substation automation, HMI and control systems, and enhance safety and reliability for California's electric grid.

You will perform engineering analyses, develop design plans, and contribute to technology strategy while working in a hybrid environment with field and facility work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is required.
Two+ years engineering experience in operations, production, construction, or maintenance.
Valid Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

Inspect and evaluate conditions for electrical equipment and systems; identify problems and improve性能.
Ensure system event assessments and RCA are performed and mitigations applied.
Prepare technical reports, calculations and design plans for projects and analyses.
