Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct drug & alcohol counseling experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with behavioral sciences credits or higher.
• Master's degree in addictions, psychology or social work is a plus.
• Equivalent combination including 18 behavioral sciences credits.

Responsibilities

• Lead treatment groups across assigned program areas and promote positive behavioral change.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and update treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate charts and document required information per directives.
• Complete assessments and make recommendations based on history and policy requirements.
• Assist with planning and facilitating treatment activities and address behavioral issues.
• Provide guidance to new specialists, students, and volunteers as assigned.
