Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate Substance Use Specialist (IOP Facilitator) for our Whiteville, NC outpatient clinic. The role includes screening, assessment, treatment planning, IOP coverage, and providing therapeutic services to both adults and children with substance use needs.

You will facilitate group therapy, collaborate with clinical teams and referral sources, and support clients through aftercare planning and community referrals under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic practices and group facilitation techniques.
• Ability to de-escalate crises and support clients in times of distress.
• 2 years of experience in Substance Use services and related settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and treatment planning for adults and children with substance use needs.
• Facilitate group therapy and coordinate with clinical teams and referral sources.
• Support clients through aftercare planning and community referrals; ensure accurate documentation.
