Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Trainee to learn under clinical supervision as a SUDP. You will provide direct counseling services, screen and evaluate clients, and assist with intake processes for adults, youth, and families.

The role requires adherence to ASAM criteria, strong record-keeping, and coordination with the clinical team. A valid SUDP/SUDPT license is required, and the organization offers a comprehensive benefits package and vaccine requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees.

Mansioni

• Must carry a minimum caseload of 8 to 10 active cases.
• Provide screening and evaluation and refer to other programs as available.
• Deliver individual and group counseling for clients with substance use and related mental health issues.
• Serve as primary case manager for up to 10 youths and/or up to 16 adults.
• Maintain records, reports, surveys and progress notes per policy.
• Coordinate with staff and other agencies to expedite patient care.
• Prepare progress reports and provide documents to courts and referral sources.
• Attend staff meetings and clinical trainings.
