Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified SUDP clinician to provide direct counseling to adults, youth, and families dealing with chemical dependency. The role emphasizes integrated, client-centered care and requires adherence to ASAM criteria for treatment planning.

Expect to manage up to 12 clients in intensive outpatient and up to 30 in aftercare, with duties including intake assessments, case management, and coordination with courts and service networks.

Qualifications

• Must possess the required college certificate qualifying as a SUDP.
• Must have a Substance Use Disorder Professional license from the Department of Health.
• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling services to patients in one-to-one or group formats.
• Serve adults, youth, and families with chemical dependency and co-occurring issues.
• Maintain a caseload up to 12 in intensive outpatient and up to 30 in aftercare.
• Design, implements and evaluates individualized treatment plans using ASAM criteria.
• Complete required forms (BECCA, CDDA) and monthly reports for Program Manager.
• Coordinate with staff and external agencies to expedite care.
