Job summary

County of Siskiyou seeks a licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide paraprofessional and treatment support for Behavioral Health clients in the SUD program. You will deliver counseling, case management, and after-hours crisis services under supervision, and facilitate plans with individuals, families, and groups in various settings.

Qualifications

• Coursework and licensing in behavioral health or related field (Addiction, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling).

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals, families, and groups to provide case management and support.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; maintain case records.
• Provide crisis and mobile crisis interventions and W&I Code 5150 evaluations in community, jail, or hospital settings.
• Assist with housing, employment, child care, and transportation access for clients.
• Coordinate services across clinic, community, and behavioral health settings.
