Job summary

SOBER STATE LLC seeks a SUD Counselor to join a multi-disciplinary team in Fresno County. You will conduct field-based counseling within clients' homes, safe public areas, or Sober State offices, delivering individual, group, and collateral sessions aligned with core addiction counseling functions.

You will complete intake assessments, initiate treatment planning, and provide comprehensive progress notes while coordinating with supervisors and staff to address client needs and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Counselors must collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are required.
• Experience with substance use counseling and education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individual service plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Maintain accurate, timely notes in the client chart.
• Coordinate with the program supervisor and other staff for caseload management.
• Schedule regular sessions and participate in supervision and training.
• Ensure compliance with program policies and reporting requirements.
