Qualifications

• Active Substance Use Disorder Professional certification in Washington State.
• Associate’s degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Three years' work experience in behavioral health services, including counseling, case management, or social work.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license when driving for work.
• Background screening/investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses clients using instruments to determine diagnosis, motivation, relapse potential, and needs.
• Determines level of care and intervention strategies aligned with treatment plans.
• Conducts individual and group counseling sessions for clients and families.
• Teaches coping skills and relapse prevention techniques.
• Participates in clinical care team meetings and coordinates with referral sources.
